International Fragrance Systems Ltd. is a world leader in the design, research and development of fragrance systems, high-quality specialty aromas and fragrance media.

With roots in the special effects industry, IFS executives pioneered smoke effects for themed environments and special events and eventually sold their 60 person nationally recognized company to Martin Professional A/S, a fully-owned subsidiary of Schouw and Co, with revenues of EUR 1.3 billion in 2008. Their expertise translated well to the scent marketing and scent branding industry, enhancing environments with specially formulated fragrances developed exclusively for IFS from select fragrance houses located in the South of France.

With over 30 years experience in the fragrance industry and a top-notch research and engineering team, IFS continues to develop patented systems and methodologies for scent branding, scent marketing, theming, and the application of fragrance to custom applications and environments. International Fragrance Systems Ltd. is headquartered in Essex, England with a research division located in the South of France.

In 2009, Koolfog, Inc. was named exclusive U.S. distributor of IFS products. Koolfog and IFS combine their expertise to apply new technologies to the more challenging outdoor spaces as a complement to Koolfog's other outdoor sensory technologies that include cooling, humidification, heating and fog effects.
